A couple of weeks ago, I blogged about an opportunity that Jeannie of Every Life has a Story created about redesigning one of her pieces, the only rule was to use 50% of the components from the original piece.
Here is what I received in the mail:
Being from New Mexico, of course I loved the turquoise art beads that she made. I also loved the coral accents. The coral and turquoise combo is one of my favorites. I kept all of her turquoise art beads, added some real coral, a few glass beads and reworked the chain to create the following necklace:

The addition of the chain makes the piece so modern. I love the textures as well as the colors you added. I really like the side toggle. Beautiful necklace!

OHHHHHHHH, nice, real nice. I like the addition of the smoky quartz! My faux turquoise and art bead are very happy! This piece is so chic and updated, I can’t believe it’s from the “before” necklace. Yikes!
